The goal of this organization are the organizations, sometimes referred to as public charities, that derive their funding or support primarily from the general public in carrying out their social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare. Although public foundations may provide direct charitable services to the public as other nonprofits do, their primary focus is on grantmaking.

TO ACQUIRE AND LEASE REAL OR PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT IS SUBJECT TO CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LAS VEGAS-CLARK COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT.

TO ENGAGE IN COLLECTIVE BARGAINING WITH EMPLOYERS AND CARRYING ON OTHER CONCERTED LABOR UNION ACTIVITIES THAT SERVE TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS AND OTHER EMPLOYEES WHOM IT REPRESENTS.

TO AID FEDERAL EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE ORGANIZED FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, SCIENTIFIC, TESTING FOR PUBLIC SAFETY, LITERARY, OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES; FOR FOSTERING NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR SPORTS COMPETITION; OR FOR PREVENTING CRUELTY TO CHILDREN OR ANIMALS WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, OR THE CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE.

THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS TMCC BY CULTIVATING RELATIONSHIPS WITH ALUMNI, DONORS, AND BUSINESSES TO GENERATE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR COLLEGE PROGRAMS AND STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, BUILD SUSTAINING ENDOWMENT FUNDS, AND LEAD CAPITAL EXPANSION TO DEVELOP A THRIVING STATE-OF-THE-ART CAMPUS.

THE ORGANIZATION'S SUPPORT COMES PRIMARILY FROM GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND CORPORATE DONATIONS. NEVADA PARTNERSHIP FOR HOMELESS YOUTH RECEIVES DONATIONS PRIMARILY FROM DONORS IN THE SOUTHERN NEVADA REGION AND PROVIDES SERVICES TO THOSE RESIDING IN THE SOUTHERN NEVADA REGION.
