These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. THE SANTA FE RECOVERY CENTER (SFRC) WORKS WITH INDIVIDUALS TO SUSTAIN LASTING RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDERS AND RELATED MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS BY PROVIDING CULTURALLY RELEVANT, EVIDENCE BASED TREATMENT AND EDUCATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.

VINCENT REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (THE HOSPITAL). THE HOSPITAL IS A COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL LOCATED IN SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO. THE HOSPITAL ENCOURAGES ALL DONORS TO THE HOSPITAL TO MAKE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS THROUGH THE FOUNDATION.

THE MISSION OF SANTA FE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS TO PROMOTE AFFORDABLE HOME OWNERSHIP FOR SANTA FE AREA RESIDENTS BY CONSTRUCTING SIMPLE, ADEQUATE, AND ENERGY EFFICIENT NEW HOMES AND REPAIRING OR REHABILITATING EXISTING HOMES THROUGH THE COOPERATIVE EFFORTS OF PARTNER FAMILIES, VOLUNTEERS, DONORS, AND STAFF.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect endangered land resources from indiscriminate development, destruction or decay and which manage the utilization of renewable and nonrenewable resources to ensure ongoing availability. Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).
