FOUNDED AS AN ORGANIZED CENTER FOR THOUGHT AND ACTION FOR THE WOMEN OF THE COMMUNITY IN WHICH IDEALS OF EDUCATION, CULTURE AND CIVIC AND SOCIAL SERVICE MAY BE ENCOURAGED AND DEVELOPED.

MISSION:

CONGENITAL HYPERINSULINISM INTERNATIONAL'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WITH CONGENITAL HYPERINSULINISM,A LIFE-THREATENING GENETIC DISORDER THAT CAUSES SEVERE HYPOGLYCEMIA THAT CAN LEAD TO SEIZURES,BRAIN DAMAGE,OR DEATH, IF UNTREATED.

TO FOSTER COMMUNICATION AND A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP AMONG PARENTS, TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS AND TO PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDS TO THE GLEN RIDGE PUBLIC SCHOOLS WHICH MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE BOARD OF EDUCATIONS BUDGET.
