HEALING VINE HARBORS HVH GOAL IS TO SERVE YOUNG WOMEN THAT HAVE BEEN DISPLACED AND AGED OUT OF THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS. HVH WILL PREPARE THESE YOUNG WOMEN FOR ADULTHOOD AND BECOME POSITIVE CONTRIBUTING CITIZENS.

INSPIRE THE FIRE INC. IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES STUDENTS, AGES 10 - 19, COACHING IN ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT, LIFE SKILLS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO CHOOSE AN ARTISTIC MAJOR OF CONCENTRATION. CURRENT MAJORS INCLUDE: DANCE, VOICE, THEATER, SPOKEN WORD, RAP AND VISUAL ARTS. PARTICIPANTS ARE GUIDED IN THEIR MAJOR AND SUPPORTED BY OUR ENTIRE TEAM TO LEARN AND GROW AS INDIVIDUALS. THE ORGANIZATION MEETS AND PRACTICES BI-WEEKLY AND PERFORM IN CHARLOTTE, NC, AND SURROUNDING AREAS YEAR ROUND. EACH YEAR, INSPIRE THE FIRE HELPS NEARLY 400 YOUTH PREPARE FOR THEIR FUTURE. MISSION: HELP YOUNG PEOPLE SUCCEED ON STAGE AND IN LIFE.

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Public, Society Benefit - Multipurpose and Other major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.

MITCHELLS FUND SERVES AS A WAY TO SUPPORT FAMILIES IN NEED THAT ARE FACING CHALLENGING PEDIATRIC DIAGNOSES AND HELPS ADDRESS THE NEED FOR EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE ON WHAT THESE FAMILIES FACE AND HOW TO SUPPORT THEM.
