LEES-MCRAE COLLEGE EDUCATES AND INSPIRES STUDENTS TO APPROACH LIFE AND WORK FROM A CREATIVE, COLLABORATIVE AND CRITICAL PERSPECTIVE IN PREPARATION FOR DIVERSE CAREERS AND ENVIRONMENTS.

PRIVATE SOCIAL CLUB OPERATING FOR THE RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL PURPOSES OF ITS MEMBERS.

MISSION:

FOSCOE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT WAS ORGANIZED IN MARCH 1971 TO PROTECT THE HOMES AND PROPERTY OF THE CITIZENS OF THE FOSCOE COMMUNITY. CURRENTLY THERE IS A FIRST RESPONDERS UNIT IN ADDITION TO FIREFIGHTING.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR AN AMBULANCE TO BE STATIONED IN BANNER ELK, NC. THE FUNDS WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE A FULL TIME AMBULANCE STAFF AND HOUSING FOR THE STAFF AND EQUIPMENT. PART OF THE FUNDS ARE PROVIDED BY AVERY COUNTY, NC.

MISSION:

ACQUIRE LAND IN AVERY COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA TO BUILD A CHRISTIAN CAMP AND OPERATE THE CAMP FOR TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AND OTHER CHURCHES AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.

PROVIDE FOOD AT NO COST TO HUNGRY PEOPLE IN NEED IN AVERY COUNTY, NC AND IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH WHERE POSSIBLE
