MANY OWNERS HAVE DIED OR BEEN FORCED TO LEAVE THEIR HOMES, AND ANIMAL SHELTERS ARE OVERWHELMED AND STRUGGLING TO COPE. IN ADDITION, SEVERAL ZOOS, INCLUDING NIKOLAEV, KYIV, AND KHARKIV, HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY ATTACKS, LEAVING THE ANIMALS TRAUMATIZED, HUNGRY, AND IN NEED OF URGENT ASSISTANCE.
