BOTANICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA ("BSA") IS A NOT FOR PROFIT MEMBERSHIP SOCIETY THAT EXISTS TO PROMOTE BOTANY. THE BSA COLLECTS ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES, HOLDS AN ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING, SOLICITS CONTRIBUTIONS FOR ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSE AND PUBLISHES THE AJB AND APPS SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS.
