LAMP PROVIDES LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION SERVICES AS WELL AS MULTICULTURAL TRAINING.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

INSPIRED BY GOSPEL VALUES, THE SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL (SVDP), IS AN INTERNATIONAL CATHOLIC LAY ORGANIZATION WITH A PURPOSE OF HELPING PEOPLE GROW SPIRITUALLY BY FORMING FRIENDSHIPS AND SEEKING AND HELPING THOSE IN NEED, REGARDLESS OF RACE, RELIGION, GENDER OR OTHER FACTORS. OUR 3,200 VOLUNTEER VINCENTIAN MEMBERS WORK THROUGH 117 PARISHES TO MEET WITH THEIR NEIGHBORS IN NEED THROUGH HOME VISITS, WHERE THEY LEARN MORE ABOUT THE NEEDS AND CAN BEGIN TO DEVELOP FRIENDSHIPS AND CREATE SYSTEMIC CHANGE. SVDP ALSO COLLABORATES WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP ADDRESS SYSTEMATIC ISSUES AND BREAK THE CYCLE.
