PROMOTION OF SOUND FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE POLICIES THAT WILL ASSURE THE FAIR AND EQUITABLE TREATMENT OF RETIREES IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR HEALTH AND PENSION PROGRAMS AND WILL IMPROVE THE ADEQUACY OF THE BENEFITS PROVIDED BY SUCH PROGRAMS.

IT IS THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION TO NEGOTIATE LABOR AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF ALL MEMBERS WHO GIVE THE ASSOCIATION A POWER OF ATTORNEY IN LABOR MATTERS AND TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THEIR LABOR AGREEMENTS.
