PATIENTS WHO MEET CERTAIN CRITERIA UNDER ITS CHARITY CARE POLICY RECEIVE CARE WITHOUT CHARGE OR AT AMOUNTS LESS THAN ESTABLISHED RATES. BECAUSE THE HOSPITAL DOES NOT PURSUE COLLECTION OF AMOUNTS DETERMINED TO QUALIFY AS CHARITY CARE, THEY ARE NOT REPORTED AS REVENUE.
