THE GENESEE AREA FOCUS FUND'S PURPOSE IS TO RECEIVE AND ADMINISTER FUNDS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE ECONOMY AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE PEOPLE OF GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN. THE FOCUS FUND PROVIDES SUPPORT TO PUBLICLY SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS THAT SHARE THIS OBJECTIVE.

PROMOTE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE THROUGH COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, MEETINGS, EDUCATION, COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZING NEW BARGAINING UNITS, COMMUNITY ACTION, ADMINISTRATION OF THE ORGANIZATION, MAINTENANCE OF ITS PROPERTY AND ASSETS, DELIVERY OF BENEFITS TO REPRESENT MEMBERS, FRATERNAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES WHICH FURTHER THE COMMON INTEREST OF THE MEMBERSHIP

PROVIDE DAY CARE CENTERS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN OF NEEDY PARENTS AND OTHER PARENTS REGARDLESS OF RACE, WHO DONT HAVE THE MEANS OR OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN DURING THE DAY.

THE CHAMBER ALSO TAKES A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN IMPROVING AND PROMOTING THE IMAGE OF GENESEE COUNTY TO ITS MANY CONSTITUENTS AROUND THE WORLD. THE CHAMBER ALSO PROVIDES NUMEROUS OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MEMBERS TO NETWORK AND HELPS FACILITATE THE GROWTH OF SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE GENESEE COUNTY REGION.
