THE KENNEBEC LAND TRUST WORKS COOPERATIVELY WITH LANDOWNERS AND COMMUNITIES TO CONSERVE THE FORESTS, LAKES, STREAMS, WETLANDS, FIELDS, AND WILDLIFE THAT HELP DEFINE CENTRAL MAINE.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE CAMPING AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE SPIRITUAL, MENTAL, AND PHYSICAL GROWTH, WITH RESPECT FOR THE WORTH AND DIGNITY OF ALL PEOPLE. THE WINTHROP DISTRICT AREA YMCA AND THE MAINE YOUTH & GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS ARE INTEGRAL IN OUR OUTREACH AND CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNITY AND LEADERSHIP.

PALS OPERATES A NO-KILL CAT SHELTER, PROVIDING SHELTER, MEDICAL CARE, AND ADOPTION SERVICES, ALSO PROVIDES LOW COST VET CARE FOR THE PUBLIC
