RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF MAINE CREATES, FINDS AND SUPPORTS PROGRAMS THAT DIRECTLY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF CHILDREN STATEWIDE; PROVIDES AFFORDABLE HOME AWAY FROM HOME LODGING WHICH INCREASES ACCESS TO MEDICAL CARE FOR FAMILIES OF CHILDREN RECEIVING TREATMENT; AND SUPPORTS A FAMILY ROOM WHERE FAMILIES FIND RESPITE AT THE HOSPITAL.
