OUR MISSION IS TO ENSURE THE PHYSICAL SAFETY, ECONOMIC SECURITY, AND AUTONOMY OF WOMEN THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THE WOMEN'S LAW CENTER OF MD WORKS TOWARDS THIS GOAL BY PROVIDING DIRECT LEGAL REPRESENTATION, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES, AND LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY.

THE AGENCY PROVIDES CONSELING, EMERGENCY SHELTER, TRANSISTION HOUSING, VICTIM ADVOCACY, AND SUPPORTS SERVICES TO VISTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES AS WELL AS INCREASE COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THESE PROBLEMS.

IN ADDITION TO A QUALITY ACADEMIC EDUCATION, ALSO PROVIDING SCHOOL SUPPORT SERVICES THAT ENHANCE EACH STUDENT'S TOTAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE ON A CULTURAL, PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL LEVEL.
