Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MEI WAH'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO THE ELDERLY. MEI WAH VILLAGE, INC. IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION,WHICH OWNS AND OPERATES A 41-UNIT ELDERY HOUSING PROJECT IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS.

TO PROVIDE UNION REPRESENTATION TO ITS MEMBERS, TO ORGANIZE WORKERS, SECURE IMPROVED WAGES, HOURS, WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES THROUGH ORGANIZING, NEGOTIATIONS AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING.
