The goal of this organization are the cooperative 501(c)(14) associations that use money deposited by a group of people (e.g., fellow employees) and lend it out again to people in the same group at favorable interest rates.

TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN A WARM, LOVING AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT AND TO ALSO PROVIDE A CONTINUUM OF CARE WHICH MEETS THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY'S ELDERLY AND INFIRM WHILE PROTECTING THEIR DIGNITY, INDEPENDENCE AND PRIVACY

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

EAST ST. TAMMANY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY PROVIDES HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES BY IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL HOME SITES, CONSTRUCTING NEW HOMES, OR REFURBISHING EXISTING STRUCTURES. THESE HOMES, LOCATED IN EAST ST. TAMMANY PARISH OF LOUISIANA, AS SOLD TO QUALIFYING FAMILIES FINANCED WITH MORTGAGE NOTES CARRYING A ZERO PERCENT INTEREST RATE.

MISSION:

THE LOUISIANA SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION (LSBA), THROUGH TRAINING, SUPPORT, AND ADVOCACY, AIDES SCHOOL BOARDS IN THEIR VITAL ROLE IN PROVIDING PUBLIC EDUCATION IN LOUISIANA.

MISSION:

TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL WELFARE OF NORTHWESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY AND ITS ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT. MARKETING AND PROMOTION OF NSU ATHLETICS, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND DIRECT SUPPORT BASED ON DONOR DESIGNATIONS.

TO PROVIDE SAFETY, SHELTER, EMPOWERMENT, AND AVOCACY TO SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

The goal of this organization is to provide gas, electricity, water and sanitary services including the hook-up of services and the installation, maintenance and repair of necessary equipment.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).
