A GREAT HEARTS LOUISIANA INC EDUCATION PREPARES STUDENTS TO BE MORE THAN JUST PROFICIENT TEST TAKERS, BUT RATHER, TO BECOME GREAT-HEARTED LEADERS CAPABLE OF SUCCESS THROUGHOUT THEIR HIGHER EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CAREERS. WITH A CURRICULUM BUILT UPON A CLASSICAL LIBERAL ARTS TRADITION AND A REVOLUTIONARY APPROACH TO SCHOOL ITSELF, GREAT HEARTS CULTIVATES THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF STUDENTS IN THE PURSUIT OF TRUTH, GOODNESS, AND BEAUTY.

MISSION:

THE MASONIC LIBRARY MUSEUM FOUNDATION OF LOUISIANA, INC. WAS CREATED FOR THE PURPOSE TO PRESERVE RECORDS, ARTIFACTS AND MEMORABILIA CONCERNING THE FRATERNITY OF MASONRY IN GENERAL AND MASONRY IN PARTICULAR, AND TO DISPLAY ITEMS OF HISTORY AND MASONIC HISTORY TO THE PRESENT TIME. WE HAVE A LARGE FACILITY FOR THE DISPLAY OF ARTIFACTS, MEMORABILIA AND BOOKS PERTAINING TO HISTORY AND MASONRY. AT THIS TIME WE HAVE NUMEROUS BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY PERTAINING TO HISTORY, MASONIC HISTORY, HISTORY IN GENERAL, REFERENCE BOOKS AND PERIODICALS AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FIVE DAYS A WEEK. THE MUSEUM CONTAINS SUBJECTS OF AMERICAN ART, PORTRAITS AND STATUES OF HISTORICAL PEOPLE, MASONIC ARTIFACTS AND NON-MASONIC ARTIFACTS ON DISPLAY IN CASES AND ON TABLES THROUGHOUT THE AREA. THE LIBRARY HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE FOR MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED YEARS AND THE MUSEUM WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1994 AND THEY HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY EXPANDED AND DEVELOPED, AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE SO BY ADDING DISPLAY CASES AND BOOKS EACH

TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF CITIZENS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF DAY HABILITATION SERVICES, SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (SHELTERED WORKSHOP), ATTENDANT SERVICES, LONG-TERM PERSONAL CARE SERVICES, AND ELDERLY AND DISABLED ADULT SERVICES.

TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM AND RELATED DISABILITIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HIGH QUALITY, ACCESSIBLE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE INDIVIDUALS' OPPORTUNITIES TO ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

The goal of this organization is to produce music not specifically covered by another category including marching bands, jazz groups, chamber music groups, blues, country music, ethnic music (e.g., Brazilian, Celtic, Afro-pop, etc.), folk music, rhythm and blues.

TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES THROUGH VARIOUS STATE AND FEDERAL GRANTS.

THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION FOR JUDICIAL DISCRETION IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]
