MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

FRIENDS OF MUIR VALLEY ACCEPTS MONETARY DONATIONS WHICH ARE PUT TO USE TOWARDS OPERATING EXPENSES OF MUIR VALLEY (PROPERTY INFRASTRUCTURE, MAINTENANCE, ANNUAL TRAIL DAY EXPENSES, ETC). BASED ON FRIENDS OF MUIR VALLEY'S SUCCESS IN SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING MUIR VALLEY, THE ORGANIZATION ACCEPTED THE DONATION OF THE MUIR VALLEY PROPERTY IN 2015.

ACLC IS A NONPROFIT LAW FIRM THAT ENGAGES IN STRATEGIC LITIGATION AND POLICY WORK IN THE AREA OF MINE SAFETY AND HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, LEGACY COST OF EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES ON THE PEOPLE, LAND AND ECONOMY OF THE CENTRAL APPALACHIAN REGION, AND SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
