MISSION:

THE MISSION OF JOHNSON COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION IS TO ENHANCE THE JOHNSON COUNTY COMMUNITY BY PROMOTING ACCESS TO JOHNSON COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ADVANCE INSTITUTIONAL EXCELLENCE. THE FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, CAPITAL PROJECTS, AND THE PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS THROUGH ANNUAL CAMPAIGNS, PLANNED GIFTS AND SPECIAL EVENTS.

LIVESTOCK MARKETING ASSOCIATION IS COMMITTED TO THE SUPPORT AND PROTECTION OF THE LOCAL LIVESTOCK AUCTION MARKETS. AUCTIONS ARE A VITAL PART OF THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY, SERVING PRODUCERS AND ASSURING A FAIR, COMPETITIVE PRICE THROUGH THE AUCTION METHOD OF SELLING. LMA IS THE VOICE FOR THE AUCTION MARKETS ON LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ISSUES AND IN PROVIDING MEMBER SERVICES TO MAINTAIN SUCCESSFUL, VIABLE MARKETING BUSINESSES AND BETTER SERVICE TO ALL OF THE LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS WHO SELL AT AUCTION.

THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF GREATER KANSAS CITY'S MISSION IS TO SUSTAIN AND ENHANCE JEWISH LIFE AT HOME AND AROUND THE WORLD.

THROUGH A FOUNDING COLLABORATION WITH THE AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY IN NEW YORK CITY, AS WELL AS WITH OTHER CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE NATION, THE MUSEUM AT PRAIRIEFIRE IS A PLACE THAT PROVIDES ACCESS FOR ALL TO UNDERSTAND AND CELEBRATE NATURAL HISTORY, THE ARTS AND SCIENCE IN OUR REGION AND AROUND THE WORLD. THE MUSEUM ENGAGES VISITORS AND STUDENTS OF ALL AGES WITH WORLD-CLASS EXHIBITIONS, IMPORTANT PROGRAMMING, AND SIGNIFICANT EDUCATIONAL AND STEAM OPPORTUNITIES.
