The goal of this organization is to provide support services to patients and their families. Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant. MOTHER THEODORE CORPORATION IV IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF INDIANA. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 16 UNIT 32 RESIDENT CONGREGATE LIVING APARTMENT PROJECT, PROVIDING LOW INCOME HOUSING INCLUDING PROVISION OF MEALS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR ELDERLY AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS. THE CORPORATION ALSO OPERATES 16 ADDITIONAL SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS THAT PROVIDE LOW INCOME HOUSING. THIS PROJECT IS OPERATED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY OF TERRE HAUTE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT.

SUNSHINE WORKSHOP, INC PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE PHYSICALLY DISABLED, THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, AND BY AND FOR THE AMISH COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING A SHELTERED WORKSHOP FOR AMISH YOUTH AFTER THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR SCHOLASTIC CAPABILITES IN THE AMISH PAROCHIAL SCHOOL SYSTEM.
