MISSION IS TO PROVIDE NECESSARY RESOURCES TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN ORDER TO ASSIST THEM IN ENHANCING THEIR DAILY LIVES. WE PROVIDE HABILITATION SERVICES, INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT, AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES BASED ON INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM PLANS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate facilities which house a collection of materials including books, manuscripts, journals, government documents and non-print formats such as paintings, musical recordings, videotapes, films and data files which are organized for access by a targeted population.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

MISSION:

DEDICATED TO IMPROVING LIVES BY PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE, EXPERT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO (SCH O) (CONTINUE FROM PART I) THE CITIZENS OF LAPORTE COUNTY SINCE 1969. SINCE ITS INCEPTION, THE SWANSON CENTER HAS DEVELOPED A FULL COMPLIMENT OF CLINICAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICES. OUR TEAM OF BOARD-CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRISTS, PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONERS, PSYCHOLOGISTS, THERAPISTS, CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS, AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IS EXTENSIVELY TRAINED IN UP-TO-DATE METHODS TO PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES TO PERSONS OF ALL AGES. SWANSON CENTER ALSO PROVIDES CARE WITHOUT CHARGE OR AT AMOUNTS LESS THAN ITS ESTABLISHED RATES TO PATIENTS WHO MEET CERTAIN CRITERIA UNDER ITS CHARITY CARE POLICY.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

PROVIDING THE LAPORTE COUNTY PARK DEPARTMENT WITH PUBLIC SUPPORT AND EXPENDED OPPORTUNIYIES FOR LAND PRESERVATION, PARK DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANDED PROGRAMS.

The goal of this organization is to provide gas, electricity, water and sanitary services including the hook-up of services and the installation, maintenance and repair of necessary equipment.

SAVE THE DUNES PROTECTS AND ADVOCATES FOR THE INDIANA DUNES, LAKE MICHIGAN AND THE SURROUNDING NATURAL AREAS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE, WORK AND RECREATE IN NORTHWEST INDIANA.
