TO PROVIDE FUNDRAISING TO ASSIST IN THE FUNDING OF THE KEEL-LAYING, CHRISTENING AND COMMISSIONING CEREMONIES OF THE USS INDIANA (SSN 789), AS WELL AS TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND RAISE AWARENESS WITH RESPECT THERETO. ONCE THE USS INDIANA (SSN 789) IS COMMISSIONED, THE MISSION OF THE CORPORATION WILL HAVE AN ADDITIONAL PURPOSE OF PROVIDING THE MEANS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR CAMARADERIE AND SUPPORT AMONG THE UNITED STATES NAVY SAILORS WHO ARE SERVING OR HAVE SERVED ABOARD THE USS INDIANA (SSN 789), AS WELL AS CONTINUING TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE SUBMARINE.

THE SO BIG MOUNTAIN HOUSE IS A CHRIST-CENTERED MATERNITY HOME THAT PROVIDES FOOD AND SHELTER FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN AND CONNECTS EACH WOMAN WITH RESOURCES TO HELP HER DEVELOP A BETTER TOMORROW FOR HERSELF AND HER FAMILY.

TO ENSURE THAT EIGHT ELEVEN FOUNDATION CAN BEST ACHIEVE ITS MISSION, ITS FUNDRAISING AND SERVICE WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO ANY ONE SPECIFIC ORGANIZATION OR ENTITY. THE FOUNDATION IS FREE TO UTILIZE ITS RESOURCES AS BEST DEEMED FIT BY ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE EIGHT ELEVEN FOUNDATION SERVES AS A PATRONAGE FOR THE PEOPLE OF EIGHT ELEVEN GROUP IN TIMES OF NEED, AND CHAMPION FOR ALL SCHOLASTIC AND SOCIAL CONSCIENCE ENDEAVORS. THIS MISSION STATEMENT HIGHLIGHTS THE THREE PILLARS THAT THE ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED ON: THE PEOPLE OF EIGHT ELEVEN, EDUCATION, AND SOCIAL CONSCIENCE.

The goal of this organization is to operate community-based residential facilities which allow adult and juvenile offenders with satisfactory behavior to transition back to the community during the last months of their sentences or which provide congregate living arrangements and supportive services for ex-offenders to help them successfully reenter the community and become self-sufficient. These facilities are known as work release centers, prerelease centers, rehabilitation centers and group homes for juvenile offenders or status offenders.
