THE ABOVE AND BEYOND FOUNDATION WAS FOUNDED IN ORDER TO RECOGNIZE INDIVIDUALS EMPLOYED IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY THAT PERSONALLY EMBRACE THE SPIRIT OF HOSPITALITY BY PERFORMING WITH EXCELLENCE IN THEIR ROLE, REGARDLESS OF JOB TITLE OR INCOME BRACKET. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO RECOGNIZE AND REWARD THESE OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUALS BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO HELP THEM ATTAIN THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS AND BETTER THEIR LIVES.

MISSION:

SINCE 1976, THE CHICAGO AREA ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION LEAGUE (CAAEL) HAS ENABLED ALTERNATIVE SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE HIGH-QUALITY EXTRACURRICULAR ATHLETIC AND ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING TO A WIDE RANGE OF CHILDREN OF DIFFERENT AGES, ABILITIES, CHALLENGES, AND BACKGROUNDS.

Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

The goal of this organization is to provide palliative and supportive services including medical care, pain and symptom management, home nurse visitation, case management, counseling, and bereavement services for terminally ill people who are in the final stages of their illnesses and for members of their families.
