THE ORGANIZATION WAS INCORPORATED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND OPERATING A FEDERALLY SUBSIDIZED HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IN JOLIET, ILLINOIS WHOSE TENANTS ARE ELIGIBLE, LOW INCOME PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

ALANO CLUB OF JOLIET IS AN ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO SUPPORTING SERVICES FOR MEMBERS OF ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS.ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS IS A FELLOWSHIP OF PEOPLE WHO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE, STRENGTH AND HOPE WITH EACH OTHER THAT THEY MAY SOLVE THEIR COMMON PROBLEM AND HELP OTHERS TO RECOVER FROM ALCOHOLISM.

MISSION:

STAAR EXISTS TO ADVOCATE FOR AND RAISE FUNDS FOR RESEARCH SPECIFICALLY ON THE LOW-GRADE SEROUS CARCINOMA SUB-TYPLE OF OVARIAN CANCER IN THE UNITED STATES. WE DRIVE AWARENESS OF THE SYMPTOBS OF OVARIAN CANCER AND THE UNDER-FUNDING OF RESEARCH FOR THE LGSC SUB-TYPE. WE STRENGTHEN OUR CONNECTIONS WITH RESEARCHERS TO UNDERSTAND RESEARCH NEEDS, FUNDING NEEDS, AND HISTORICALLY RAISED ENOUGH FUNDS THROUGH DONATIONS TO GIVE THREE RESEARCH GRANTS FOR LGSOC. ONE OF THE FUNDED STUDIES WAS FUNDED WITH MONEY DONATED IN 2021.

THE MISSION OF THE SULLIVAN COUNTRY CLUB IS TO PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT GOF EXPERIENCE WHILE AT THE SAME TIME PROMOTING FELLOWSHIP AND CAMARADERIE AMNG ITS MEMBERSHIP. THIS MISSION WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY:
