The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

TO PREPARE PASTORS, TEACHERS AND EVANGELISTS & MISSIONARIES THROUGH STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS; TO PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL IN ROMANIA THROUGH CHRISTIAN RADIO; TO PROPAGATE THE CHURCH THROUGH SPONSORING PASTORS AND CHURCH BUILDING PROGRAMS; TO PUBLISH CHRISTIAN LITERATURE AND TRAINING MATERIALS IN THE ROMANIAN LANGUAGE; AND TO PROVIDE COMPASSION AND WITNESS TO ORPHANS THROUGH THE TEEN-AGE ORPHAN MINISTRY.

THE MISSION OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY PROVIDER NETWORK IS TO KEEP FAMILIES INTACT BY KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE AND WELL EDUCATED IN THEIR COMMUNITIES WHILE PROVIDING SUPPORT, RESOURCES, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES NEEDED TO IMPROVE THE WELL-BEING OF BLACK COMMUNITIES.

TO PROVIDE SCHOLARHIP FUNDING TO NEEDY INDIVIDUALS PURSUING PROFESSIONS IN A MEDICALLY RELATED FIELD AND A DESIRE TO SERVE THE RURAL POPULATION OF FULTON, WARREN, KNOX AND MCDONOUGH COUNTIES IN ILLINOIS.

Although public foundations may provide direct charitable services to the public as other nonprofits do, their primary focus is on grantmaking.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF MAISIE'S CARING FOR CATS IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF FERAL, STRAY AND COMMUNITY CATS IN MASSAC COUNTY, ILLINOIS BY SPAYING AND NEUTERING, PROVIDING REGULAR FEEDING, AND PROVIDING NECESSARY VETERINARY CARE. THE ORGANIZATION WILL WORK TO FIND HOMES FOR ADOPTABLE CATS, BUT MOST OTHERS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD FROM WHERE THEY CAME (TRAP, NEUTER, RETURN - TNR). THE SMALL, RURAL COMMUNITY HAS AN OVER POPULATION OF DOMESTIC CATS DUE TO ABANDONMENT AND THE FAILURE OF CAT OWNERS TO SPAY AND NEUTER. THERE IS NO GOVERNMENT RESOURCE TO IMPROVE THIS SITUATION. THIS RESULTS IN A LARGE NUMBER OF STRAY AND FERAL POPULATIONS. THE LIVES OF THESE CATS ARE SHORT AND DIFFICULT. THEY STRUGGLE TO FIND FOOD. THEY SUFFER FROM BACTERIAL AND VIRAL INFECTIONS THAT RESULT FROM FIGNTING WITH OTHER CATS, LACK OF ADEQUATE NUTRITION, AND PARASITIC INFESTATIONS. AGGRESSIVE TNR WILL CONTROL THIS PROBLEM.

MISSION:

THE GRUNDY COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT ITS MEMBERSHIP, PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN GRUNDY COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

MISSION:

THE STUDIO MECHANICS LOCAL 476 LEGAL AND EDUCATION ASSISTANCE FUND WILL PROVIDE FREE AND REDUCED-RATE AND FEE LEGAL SERVICES AND REIMBURSE CERTAIN EDUCATION RELATED EXPENSES, SUCH AS TUITIION, ROOM AND BOARD, AND BOOK FEES TO STUDIO MECHANICS LOCAL 476 BARGINING UNIT MEMBERS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS FUNDED BY THE PARTICIPATING MEMBERS OF THE BARGINING UNIT ON AN AFTER-TAX BASIS.

TO GATHER INFORMATION RELATING TO LICENSING PRACTICES, REVIEW CURRENT LEGISLATION, AND ORGANIZE SEMINARS RELATING TO REAL ESTATE. COMPILE INFORMATION FOR USE OF MEMBERS. FURNISH INFORMATION TO PERSONS INTERESTED IN OBTAINING A REAL ESTATE LICENSE AND INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF TIMES AND PLACES OF COURSES AND EXAMS. HOLD CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES FOR MEMBERSHIP. HOLD BUSINESS MEETINGS.

The goal of this organization is to support and fund-raise for single institutions, multihospital health care systems, and similar diversified health systems comprised of closely-affiliated organizations within the Health Care major group area.

TO EDUCATE AND SUPPORT THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF PRACTICE, RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND SURGICAL STUDY OF ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY, PATHOLOGY, DIAGNOSIS AND SURGICAL TREATMENT OF MALE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION, URINARY INCONTINENCE AND OTHER PENILE DISORDERS.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games.
