GIRL SCOUTS IS THE PREEMINENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION FOR GIRLS. WITH PROGRAMS FROM COAST TO COAST AND ACROSS THE GLOBE, GIRL SCOUTS OFFERS EVERY GIRL A CHANCE TO PRACTICE A LIFETIME OF LEADERSHIP, ADVENTURE, AND SUCCESS. GIRL SCOUTS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS SERVES OVER 6,557 GIRLS AND 3,384 ADULT VOLUNTEERS IN 40 MOSTLY RURAL COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.

MISSION:

ADVOCATES FOR SOUND PUBLIC POLICY AND SUPPORTS MEMBERS THROUGH COORDINATION OF COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS AND EDUCATION TO PROVIDE PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES TO ADDRESS ALCOHOLISM, DRUG DEPENDENCY AND MENTAL ILLNESS AND PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS.

MISSION:

PROVIDING CHILDCARE AND HEADSTART SERVICES FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 3 TO 5 YEARS OLD

The goal of this organization is to administer centralized fundraising efforts and then in turn distribute the contributed funds to several nonprofit agencies.
