NORTHLAKE SENIOR HOUSING NFP PROVIDES HOUSING AND SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY, TO MEET THEIR PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, AND PSYCHO-SOCIAL NEEDS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

TRUST ESTABLISHED UNDER THE TERMS OF THE WILL OF WAVERLY C. WORKMAN. ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS IN THE WILL, THE TRUSTEE WILL LEASE AND MANAGE THE FARM LAND REAL ESTATE. THE TRUSTEE SHALL DISTRIBUTE THE NET INCOME ANNUALLY FROM SAID FARM LAND AFTER NECESSARY EXPENSES AND INCLUDING A REASONABLE RESERVE FUND FOR THE NEXT CROP YEAR, 1/3 EACH TO THE FOLLOWING NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:1) ILLINOIS CHURCHES IN ACTION, 2)ILLINOIS GREAT RIVERS ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. CONFERENCE BOARD OF GLOBAL MINISTRIES AND 3)CONFERENCE BOARD OF ORDAINED MINISTRY, WHICH SHALL DISTRIBTE SAID FUNDS AS SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS FOR ILLIOIS MINISTERIAL STUDENTS TO ATTEND METHODIST/WESLEYAN SEMINARIES.

TO INSPIRE, EDUCATE, SUPPORT, AND ADVANCE CURRENT AND FUTURE WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS AND CORPORATE, PROFIT-CENTER LEADERS.

The goal of this organization is to provide philanthropy, voluntarism and grantmaking services where the major purpose is unclear enough that a more specific code cannot be accurately assigned.

TO ASSURE THE LONG TERM CONTINUITY OF THE LUTHERAN CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES OF ILLINOIS BY DEVELOPMENT OF PRIVATE FINANCIAL RESOURCES; TO USE PRUDENT MANAGEMENT OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES UNDER ITS CONTROL; AND TO MAKE AVAILABLE FUNDS TO RESPOND TO PROGRAM NEEDS OF LUTHERAN CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES OF ILLINOIS.

The goal of this organization is to support and fund-raise for single institutions, multihospital health care systems, and similar diversified health systems comprised of closely-affiliated organizations within the Health Care major group area.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

PROVIDE VOCATIONAL, RESIDENTIAL, WORKSHOPS, AND DAY AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES TO ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN AND INCREASE SKILL IN THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE ENVIRONMENT AND TO HELP PEOPLE ACHIEVE THEIR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL.

THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES FIVE MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING FACILITIES IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS THAT PROVIDE HOUSING TO THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.

EDUCATE THE YOUTH AND INCREASE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF POLICE WORK THROUGH THE MUSEUM USING MOBILE EXHIBITS AT COMMUNITY EVENTS STATEWIDE.

TO PROVIDE GOLF, DINING AND OTHER SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS.
