PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF AGRICULTURE AND USE OF SUPERIOR SEED. IOWA CROP IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS THE OFFICIAL SEED CERTIFYING AGENCY FOR THE STATE OF IOWA. THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN PROVIDING IOWA WITH QUALITY, UNBIASED SEED PRODUCTION SERVICES AND CROP PERFORMANCE TESTING SERVICES SINCE 1920. THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE AN UNBIASED SOURCE OF SERVICE AND EDUCATION IN PRODUCTION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE FOR IOWA AGRICULTURAL CROPS.

The goal of this organization is to operate associations for male and female students which are chapters of national or international organizations, have secret rites and restricted membership, and may undertake, as a part of their activities, community improvement or charitable projects.

EQUIPPING LUTHERANS AND THEIR NEIGHBORS TO BE GOSPEL-MOTIVATED VOICES FOR LIFE.

MISSION:

THE NEDC HAS DEVELOPED 3 BUSINESS/INDUSTRIAL PARKS WHICH PROVIDE MORE THAN 1.8 MILLION IN PROPERTY TAXES TO THE CITY AND ALSO HAS PROVIDED AND RETAINED OVER 1,000 NEW JOBS IN THE NEVADA REGION.

THIS ASSOCIATION OPERATES AND RUNS THE ANNUAL 4-H COUNTY FAIR IN STORY COUNTY IOWA. IN THE NON FAIR TIME IT RENTS ITS BUILDINGS.

SEE SCHEDULE O.THE MISSION OF THE STORY COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION IS TO ENCOURAGE, ACCEPT, AND MANAGE GIFTS AND GRANTS FROM PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SOURCES GIVEN TO STORY COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER (SCMC) AND ITS FOUNDATION. SCMC ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SCMC BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ADMINISTRATION TO IDENTIFY AND PRIORITIZE THE MEDICAL CENTER'S FINANCIAL NEEDS AND ENCOURAGES THE ENHANCEMENT OF PRESENT AND FUTURE SCMC HEALTH SERVICES AND FACILITIES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION EFFORTS AS NEEDED, THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE HEALTHCARE LEADERS THROUGH STUDENT HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIPS IN STORY COUNTY, AND ADVOCATION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES THROUGH HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND EVENTS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

Services can include pregnancy testing and physician exams with ultrasound, counseling on pregnancy-related issues, information on STDs, healthcare & community referrals, and help with material goods such as maternity and baby items.
