THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN FORMED TO SPONSOR THE PRESERVATION OF AFFORDABLE LOW-INCOME ELDERLY HOUSING PROJECTS, PRIMARILY THOSE FINANCED UNDER THE HUD SECTION 202 DIRECT LOAN PROGRAM WITH RENTAL SUBSIDIES PROVIDED UNDER SECTION 8 HOUSING PAYMENT (HAP) CONTRACTS. THE PRESERVATION OF THESE PROJECTS AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING IS AN ACUTE PROBLEM BECAUSE THE MAJORITY OF THESE PROJECTS ARE APPROACHING THE MATURITY OF THEIR MORTGAGE TERMS AND MAY BE PREPAID WITHOUT HUD APPROVAL. REBUILD AMERICA WILL ACQUIRE SUCH PROJECTS AND MAINTAIN THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THE RESIDENTS.

PROVIDE YOUTH LIVING IN AT-RISK COMMUNITIES FROM PARTNER MINISTRIES WITH A CULTURALLY RELEVANT CHRISTIAN CAMP ENVIRONMENT AND TO CONNECT CAMPERS WITH CHRISTIAN MENTORS WHO WILL INVEST IN THEIR LIVES. WE UTILIZE CAMP FACILITIES AND PROGRAMS TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE OUTREACH TOOL FOR INNER-CITY, YOUTH-FOCUSED CHURCHES, MINISTRIES, GOVERNMENT AND NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY AGENCIES.

SOUTHEAST GEORGIA HEALTH SYSTEM FOUNDATION, INC., WILL SERVE AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO FURTHER ENABLE SE GA HEALTH SYSTEM TO PROVIDE SAFE, QUALITY, ACCESSIBLE, AND COST-EFFECTIVE CARE TO MEET THE HEALTH NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES IT SERVES.
