THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO ACQUIRE, CONSTRUCT OR IMPROVE STUDENT HOUSING OR OTHER STUDENT FACILITIES FOR GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY, A PUBLIC UNIVERSITY.

MISSION:

THE GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1963 TO RECEIVE, MANAGE, AND ADMINISTER PRIVATE GIFTS IN SUPPORT OF THE GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY MISSION AND PRIORITIES. THE FOUNDATION PRIMARILY ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION BY PROVIDING LEADERSHIP IN OBTAINING THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO ATTAIN UNIVERSITY GOALS AND THROUGH RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP OF FUNDS AND OTHER ASSETS ENTRUSTED TO IT. THE GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION RAISES, INVESTS AND DISTRIBUTES PRIVATE DOLLARS NEEDED TO FUND THE PROGRAMS, PROJECTS, SCHOLARSHIPS, EQUIPMENT AND BUILDINGS THAT HELP GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY EARN AND MAINTAIN A REPUTATION FOR EXCELLENCE.

The goal of this organization are the cooperative 501(c)(14) associations that use money deposited by a group of people (e.g., fellow employees) and lend it out again to people in the same group at favorable interest rates.

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE OUR MEMBERS WITH HIGH QUALITY TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES AT AFFORDABLE RATES.

IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS, FACILITIES AND STAFF ENHANCEMENT FOR THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT OF GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY. ADDITIONALLY, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES COMMUNICATION AND SERVICES FOR ALL FRIENDS OF EAGLES ATHLETICS. ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE FOUNDATION ARE CONDUCTED WITH THE HIGHEST REGARD FOR ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE AND WITHIN THE GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM OF GEORGIA BOARD OF REGENTS, CONFERENCE AFFILIATIONS, AND THE NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION.

THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE HOUSING, ASSISTED LIVING ACTIVITIES, PERSONAL CARE AND HEALTH RELATED SERVICES, 24 HOUR ASSISTANCE WITH ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING AS REQUIRED AND NEEDED BY THE ELDERLY, IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.

THE ORGANIZATION WAS ESTABLISHED AS A PRIVATE CLUB FOR THE PURPOSE OF OFFERING ITS MEMBERS SOCIAL ENTERTAINMENT AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES.

TO SECURE AND ADMINISTER MONETARY DONATIONS, GRANTS, AND OTHER FUNDS FROM CONSTITUENTS WITHIN ITS SERVICE DELIVERY AREA TO SUPPORT OGEECHEE TECHNICAL COLLEGE IN ITS QUEST TO CONTRIBUTE TO ECONOMIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BY PROVIDING QUALITY TECHNICHAL EDUCATION AND SERVICES, ADULT EDUCATION, CONTINUING EDUCATION, AND CUSTOMIZED BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY WORKFORCE TRAINING TO THE CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES.
