THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A HIGH QUALITY THRIFT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN A CLEAN, ORGANIZED RETAIL ENVIRONMENT WITH A FOCUS ON PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ENCOURAGE REPEAT BUSINESS AND WORD-OF-MOUTH PROMOTION. PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF DONATED ITEMS ARE USED TO SUPPORT STORE EXPENSES AND TO ISSUE MONETARY GRANTS TO VARIOUS ANIMAL RESCUES TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF REDUCING EUTHANASIA OF ADOPTABLE PETS AND FINDING HOMES FOR HOMELESS PETS. MOST GRANT RECIPIENT ORGANIZATIONS ARE EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE IRS CODE.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF DEKALB COUNTY COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES (CASA) IS TO RECRUIT, SCREEN, TRAIN AND SUPERVISE COURT-APPOINTED VOLUNTEERS WHO ADVOCATE FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN UNDER THE PROTECTION OF THE DEKALB COUNTY JUVENILE COURT SYSTEM. IT IS DESIGNED TO GIVE ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN A POWERFUL VOICE VIA INDIVIDUALIZED ADVOCACY THROUGHOUT THE COURT PROCESS AND UTILIZES COMMUNITY, CONCERNED, WELL-TRAINED AND SUPERVISED VOLUNTEERS TO CONTINUALLY PROTECT THE BEST INTERESTS OF CHILDREN IN CARE.
