OUR COLLECTIVE MISSION IS TO POSITIVELY CONTRIBUTE TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM MOVEMENT, NURTURE THE LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL IN THE YOUTHS THAT CROSS THE COURTS PATH, AND RAISING AWARENESS OF THE HISTORICAL ISSUES AGAINST THESE YOUNG AMERICANS AND CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION ENHANCES THE HOLIDAY SEASON FOR CHILDREN IN NEED BY COLLECTING AND DISTRIBUTING TOYS AND OTHER GIFT ITEMS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON AND BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES DURING THE SUMMER.

THE GEORGIA PREVENTION PROJECT IS A LARGE-SCALE PREVENTION PROGRAM AIMED AT REDUCING DRUG USE THROUGH PUBLIC SERVICE MESSAGING, PUBLIC POLICY, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH. CENTRAL TO THE PROGRAM IS A RESEARCH-BASED MARKETING CAMPAIGN THAT GRAPHICALLY COMMUNICATES THE RISK OF DRUG USE.

The goal of this organization is to work to prevent, predict or control the effects of disasters (e.g. floods, earthquakes, fires, tornadoes), to educate or otherwise prepare individuals to cope with the effects of such disasters or to provide broad-based relief services to victims of such disasters.

THE GROCERY SPOT IS A COMMUNITY SUPPORTED FREE GROCERY STORE AND EVENT SPACE. WE OFFER A FREE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE TO ANYONE WHO MAY NEED IT. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY REQUIREMENTS OR APPLICATIONS, ALL ARE WELCOME! OUR MISSION IS TO IMPROVE FOOD ACCESS AND FIGHT FOR FOOD JUSTICE AS WELL AS PROVIDE A SAFE SPACE TO GATHER, LEARN, AND GROW.

ATLANTA CIVIC CIRCLE DIRECTLY FUNDS PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS AND JOURNALISM PROJECTS AND IS COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING BEST PRACTICES AND FAIR COMPENSATION FOR REPORTERS. WE CURRENTLY HAVE TWO JOURNALISTS AND THREE STAFF MEMBERS WORKING TO ADVANCE OUR TWO FIRST FOCUS AREAS. IN ADDITION TO REPORTING THE ISSUES, JOUNRALISTS WILL EXPLORE SOLUTIONS AND RESOURCES FOR READERS TO EFFECT CHANGE. BOTH ARTICLES AND RESOURCES ARE FREE FOR THE PUBLIC AND OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS TO USE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. ONLINE ENGAGEMENT AROUND ARTICLES AND RESOURCES HAS CREATED ACTION IN OUR COMMUNITY TO HELP RELOCATED FAMILIES IN NEED OF BETTER AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPTIONS; EDUCATED FIRST-TIME VOTERS; AND BROUGHT LEADERS FROM THE REGION AROUND THESE TOPICS.THIS YEAR, AT ATLANTA CIVIC CIRCLE WE ADDED A NEW FOCUS AREA TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES AND EDUCATION AROUND DEMOCRACY. IN LIGHT OF THE DIVIDED POLITICAL LANDSCAPE, ATLANTA CIVIC CIRCLE IDENTIFIED A CRITICAL NEED TO HELP OUR READERS LEARN ABOUT VOTING,

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
