REGARDLESS OF THE SERVICE PROVIDED, SINCE HOPE'S INCEPTION IN 1979, SAFETY FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN IS THE CORNERSTONE OF ALL ACTIVITIES. THEN, LIKE NOW, HOPE IS THE ONLY STATE CERTIFIED SERVICE PROVIDER THAT ASSISTS VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHLDREN IN MANATEE COUNTY. THE VISION HAS NEVER CHANGED AND THAT IS TO DO ONE THING, PROVIDE QUALITY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY.

The goal of this organization is to provide a wide variety of social services that are designed to support healthy family development, improve the familys ability to resolve problems and prevent the need for unnecessary placement of children in settings outside the home.

A PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL THAT PROVIDES UNIQUE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDENTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN TRADITIONAL PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS. THE FOCUS WILL BE TO ASSIST STUDENTS WHO ARE AGE 16 TO 21 AND WHO ARE AT RISK OF DROPPING OUT OR WHO HAVE ALREDY DROPPED OUT OF TRADITIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS ACHIEVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR PREPARE FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL OPTIONS.
