OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SHELTER, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, COMFORT, SAFETY AND SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND THEIR DEPENDENT CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE AND/OR HOMELESS AS WELL AS ADVOCATING FOR THEIR NEEDS AND RIGHTS AND PROVIDING FOR SOCIAL SERVICES.

THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION SHALL BE THE ACCUMULATION AND DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE SERVICE AREA OF PEACE RIVER ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. AND ITS SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THIS SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY DISBURSEMENT OF THESE ACCUMULATED CHARITABLE FUNDS OF THE FOUNDATION TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR NEEDS WHICH ARE RELATED TO FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, HEALTH NEEDS, ENVIRONMENTAL AND EDUCATION. UPON DISSOLUTION OF THE FOUNDATION, ANY REMAINING FUNDS SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED ONLY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
