MISSION:

THE FLORIDA SUPPORTIVE HOUSING COALITION IS A STATEWIDE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO FOSTERING THE DEVELOPMENT OF HOUSING FOR VARIOUS SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATIONS, INCLUDING: THE ELDERLY, CERTAIN VETERANS RETURNING FROM SERVICE ABROAD, YOUNG PEOPLE AGING OUT OF THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, PERSONS WITH A DISABILITY, THOSE AT RISK OR SUFFERING FROM HOMELESSNESS, EX-OFFENDERS, AND OTHERS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, water polo, boating, white water rafting and other water sports. Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLUB SHALL BE TO ENCOURAGE HEALTH AND FITNESS, ESPECIALLY THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN JOGGING AND RUNNING, WHETHER FOR COMPETITION, PHYSICAL FITNESS, OR PLEASURE; TO STIMULATE THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION ABOUT HEALTH, FITNESS AND RUNNING AND TO DISSEMINATE SUCH INFORMATION; AND TO ENCOURAGE INDIVIDUALS TO PURSUE OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE AND COMPETE IN RACES AND OTHER FITNESS ACTIVITIES AND TO PROVIDE ORGANIZED EVENTS IN WHICH INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS MAY PARTICIPATE.

THE FLORIDA COUNCIL ON AGING WAS CREATED TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF AGING AND THE AGED, AND TO FURTHER THE WELFARE OF THE AGING AND THE AGED THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

FLORIDA CONSERVATION VOTERS IS DEDICATED TO MAKING CONSERVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTON A TOP PRIORITY FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS, POLITICAL CANDIDATES, AND VOTERS ACROSS THE STATE.
