THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF MARTIN COUNTY (EFMC)IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT 501(C)(3), COMMUNITY INVESTMENT ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF BUSINESS LEADERS, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS, AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS WITH THE MISSION OF ENRICHING AND ENHANCING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF THE MARTIN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, THROUGH EFFECTIVE FUNDRAISING EFFORTS, POSITIVE COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS, INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING, AND EFFICIENT ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES.

SINCE 1959 THE MARTIN COUNTY FAIR HAS BEEN CONDUCTING AND OPERATING PUBLIC FAIRS AND EXPOSITIONS FOR THE BENEFIT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS OF AGRICULTURAL,LIVESTOCK, AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES.
