THE PURPOSE OF P4P IS THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, FOR RELIEF OF SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS, AND THE EXTENSION OF HUMANE EDUCATION. SPECIFICALLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE TAKING CARE OF ABANDONED ANIMALS AND EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS TO THE CARE AND WELFARE OF ALL ANIMALS, TO PROVIDE HUMANE CARE/TREATMENT/TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR ALL DOGS AND CATS NEEDING PROTECTION IN THE AREA SERVED BY P4P, TO SEEK TO RETURN LOST ANIMALS TO THEIR OWNERS, TO FIND SUITABLE "ADOPTIVE" HOMES FOR STRAYS AND ABANDONED ANIMALS, AND TO PROVIDE SPAY/NEUTER AND VETTING SERVICES PRIOR TO ADOPTION.

The goal of this organization is to provide free and confidential services to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Services can include pregnancy testing and physician exams with ultrasound, counseling on pregnancy-related issues, information on STDs, healthcare & community referrals, and help with material goods such as maternity and baby items.

PANHANDLE FORENSIC NURSE SPECIALIST, INC. (PFNS) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE. THEY PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE CARE FOR, ADVOCACY FOR AND FORENSIC EVIDENCE COLLECTION FROM SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIMS. IN ADDITION TO PROVIDED FORENSIC MEDICAL SERVICES, PFNS ALSO PROVIDES PROPHYLAXIS TREATMENT FOR SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES. THEY MUST MEET THE PROTOCOLS OF CURRENT STANDARDS FOR EVIDENCE COLLECTION, EVIDENCE PRESERVATION AND VICTIM CARE. THEY ALSO SERVE AS A RESOURCE ON SEXUAL VIOLENCE ISSUES TO THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA.
