THESE EFFORTS ALSO HELP IMPROVE MEDICAL SURGE CAPACITY AND CAPABILITY, FURTHER ENHANCING A COMMUNITY'S HEALTH SYSTEM PREPAREDNESS FOR DISASTERS AND PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCIES.
