FORM 990, PART III LINE 1, DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION MISSION:THE PURPOSE OF BENEFACTORS OF ECUADOR INC ("BOEI") IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT LATIN AMERICA, PARTICULARLY ECUADOR OR IN THE UNITED STATES THAT ARE DEDICATED TO IMPROVING HEALTH CARE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT OF PATIENTS, AND THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES IN IMPROVISHED COMMUNITIES.BOEI PLANS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF IMPROVERISHED CHILDREN AND COMMUNITIES IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE UNITED STATES THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTION OF BROCHURES, PAMPHLETS, AND OTHER LITERATURE THAT HIGHLIGHT THE DIFFICULTIES POOR COMMUNITIES FACE WITH RESPECT TO OBTAINING ADEQUATE HEALTH CARE, MEDICAL TREATMENT, AND EDUCATION.

The goal of this organization is to provide supervised recreational and social activities for children and youth of all ages and backgrounds, but particularly for disadvantaged youth, through youth-oriented clubs or centers with the objective of building character and developing leadership and social skills among participants.
