TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF CALIFORNIA-OWNED SMALL- AND MID- SIZED BUSINESSES AND THE PEOPLE THEY EMPLOY. IT ACCOMPLISHES THIS THROUGH A MIX OF PUBLIC EDUCATION, LEGISLATIVE LOBBYING, AND GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING. THE ALLIANCE IS LED BY A TEAM OF EXPERIENCED CALIFORNIA BUSINESS OWNERS AND COMMUNICATORS COMMITTED TO CREATING A REGULATORY CLIMATE THAT FOSTERS THE CREATION OF NEW BUSINESSES, AND HELPS EXISTING ONES PROSPER. THE ALLIANCE WILL WORK WITH LEGISLATORS OF ALL POLITICAL BACKGROUNDS WHO SHARE OUR COMMON INTERESTS.

TO PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC VITALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY, AS WELL AS REGIONAL EQUITY FOR THE 18 NORTHEASTERN AND MIDWESTERN STATES: CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, MAINE, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, VERMONT, AND WISCONSIN.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations, sometimes referred to as public charities, that derive their funding or support primarily from the general public in carrying out their social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare. Although public foundations may provide direct charitable services to the public as other nonprofits do, their primary focus is on grantmaking.

ITS STATED PURPOSE IS TO IMPROVE BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING OF GOVERNMENTAL POLICIES, METHODS, AND OPERATIONS, AND TO INCREASE THE GOVERNMENTAL AWARENESS OF THE ROLE OF BUSINESS IN NATIONAL AFFAIRS. IT SEEKS TO STRENGTHEN THE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY OF BUSINESS REPRESENTATION TO ALL BRANCHES OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

The goal of this organization is to focus broadly on strengthening, unifying and building the economic, cultural, educational and social services of an urban community or neighborhood.
