WE SERVE FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS OF ALL ABILITIES, BACKGROUNDS AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LEVELS, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE, SO NO ONE IS TURNED ANYONE AWAY FROM OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO PAY.

THE CLUB IS ORGANIZED TO OPERATE AS A PRIVATE SOCIAL CLUB FOR THE PROMOTION OF OUTDOOR SPORTS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL INTERACTION AMONG THE MEMBERS AND FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE NOT PROHIBITED BY THE STATUTES OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT.

CBIA IS THE VOICE OF BUSINESS IN CONNECTICUT, WITH THOUSANDS OF MEMBER COMPANIES CHAMPIONING CHANGE AT THE STATE CAPITOL, SHAPING DEBATE ABOUT ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS AND FIGHTING FOR A BETTER FUTURE FOR ALL.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

ABILIS PROVIDES PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES IN LOWER FAIRFIELD COUNTY WITH SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY FOR BUILDING ABLE LIVES AND STRONG COMMUNITIES.

MISSION:

POMPERAUG WOODS IS A NONPROFIT LIFECARE CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS AGED 62 AND OVER CONSISTING OF 130 INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS, 16 MEMORY CARE BEDS, AND 37 SKILLED NURSING BEDS. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE MEDICAL CARE, ASSISTANCE IN LIVING SERVICES, FOOD, LAUNDRY AND CLEANING.
