WE ORGANIZE AN ANNUAL AGRICULTURAL FAIR WHICH OVER 30,000 PEOPLE ATTEND. THIS RAISES FUNDS WHICH WE DONATE TO OUR AFFILIATE, LIONS INTERNATIONAL WOLCOTT. IN ADDITION TO FUNDRAISING, THE FAIR IS ALSO EDUCATIONAL, AND BUILDS COMMUNITY SPIRIT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

TO CREATE A WELCOMING GATHERING SPOT THAT OFFERS MATERIALS, SERVICES, PROGRAMS, AND CULTURAL EVENTS TO MEET THE PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND CIVIC NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY.

THE GOSHEN FIRE DEPARTMENT #3, INC. WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTING & EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR THE TOWN OF WATERFORD & SURRONDING TOWNS UNDER THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT MUTUAL AID SYSTEM. THE FIRE COMPANY ALSO PROVIDES FIRE TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS.
