THE COPPER CLUB SEEKS TO PROMOTE THE INTEREST OF THE COPPER INDUSTRY. BY HONORING THOSE WHO HAVE FORGED PATHWAYS IN THE INDUSTRY AND PAVING NEW PATHS FOR STUDENTS WORKING TOWARD CAREERS IN THE INDUSTRY, THE COPPER CLUB ENSURES THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF COPPER.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF MARTIN HOUSE, INC. IS TO PROVIDE A NURTURING COMMUNITY WHERE INDIVIDUALS OF LIMITED INCOME WHO HAVE BEEN ALONE, ALIENATED, FEARFUL, AND DISPOSSESSED CAN DEVELOP HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, NEW DIGNITY, AND A RENEWED LIFE. THE MARTIN HOUSE COMMUNITY INCLUDES PEOPLE RECOVERING FROM MENTAL ILLNESS AND ADDICTIONS.

PROVIDE SUPPORT TO: COMMUNITY PROJECTS, YOUTH PROGRAMS, VETERANS PROGRAMS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

DEMOLAY IS AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PREPARING YOUNG MEN TO LEAD SUCCESSFUL, HAPPY, AND PRODUCTIVE LIVES. BASING ITS APPROACH ON TIMELESS AND PRACTICAL, HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE, DEMOLAY OPENS DOORS FOR YOUNG MEN AGED 12 TO 21 BY DEVELOPING THE CIVIC AWARENESS, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS SO VITALLY NEEDED IN SOCIETY TODAY. DEMOLAY COMBINES THIS SERIOUS MISSION WITH A FUN APPROACH THAT BUILDS IMPORTANT BONDS OF FRIENDSHIP AMONG ITS MEMBERS.

THE CHESTER HISTORICAL SOCIETY (CHS) SEEKS TO PROMOTE AN INTEREST IN THE HISTORY OF CHESTER, CT AS A PROTOTYPICAL NEW ENGLAND SMALL TOWN THAT HAS SURVIVED AND THRIVED BY ADAPTING TO CHANGING CULTURAL, ECONOMIC AND DEMOGRAPHIC ENVIRONMENTS.

GRAVE SALES, BURIALS, PERPERUAL CARE OF CEMETERY AND OPERATIONS INCLUDING GRAVE DIGGING AND MAINTENANCE.

TO PROMOTE ETHNIC AND CULTURAL EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY. ALSO PROVIDE SOCIAL AND INFORMATIONAL SERVICES FOR A BETTER COMMUNITY

[Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

MISSION:

TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF CHILDREN BY DONATING IN-KIND CONRIBUTIONS AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO OTHER EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS; AND TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT THROUGH PROMOTING THE RECYCLING AND/OR REUSE OF USED CLOTHING AND OTHER TEXTILES.

THE CORPORATION OWNS AND OPERATES 108 UNITS OF LOW-INCOME ELDERLY HOUSING. RENTS ARE SUBSIDIZED BY RURAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH A MORTGAGE SUBSIDY CREDIT AND A RENTAL ASSISTANCE SUBSIDY.

BRING TOGETHER THE BEST RESOURCES IN THE FIELD IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE HUMAN AND SOCIAL COSTS OF ADDICTION, EVERY YEAR, UNTIL THIS PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS IS ELIMINATED.
