FWW RESEARCH AWARDS TARGET SMALL, EARLEY-STAGE STUDIES WITH PROMISE FOR PROVIDING NEW INFORMATION AND CATALYZING THE DIRECTION OF LARGE-SCALE RESEARCH. AREAS OF INTEREST INCLUDE CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE, TOP FEMALE CANCERS, HORMONES' ROLE IN DISEASE AND STAGE-OF-LIFE HEALTH CONCERNS SUCH AS PREGNANCY AND MENOPAUSE, AND DISEASES DISPROPORTIONATELY AFFECTING WOMEN. FWW FELLOWSHIP AWARDS SUPPORT EMERGING PHYSICIAN-SCIENTISTS WORKING ON RESEARCH IN THE AFOREMENTIONED AREAS OF WOMEN'S HEALTH. FWW BRINGS NEW AND CLARIFYING RESEARCH FINDINGS DIRECTLY TO WOMEN VIA ITS WEBSIDE AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS.
