THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE NO-COST, COURT APPOINTED LEGAL SERVICES TO INDIGENT PARTIES IN JUVENILE DEPENDENCY COURT CASES VIA A CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA JUDICIAL COUNCIL. IN 2016, SEVERE BUDGET CUTS RESULTED IN THE CONTRACT ENDING AND THE ORGANIZATION CEASING ALL LEGAL REPRESENTATION. THE ORGANIZATION IS DORMANT AT THIS TIME WHILE THE FOUNDERS ARE EXPLORING THE OPTION OF TRANSITIONING TO A FOUNDATION TO SERVE AT-RISK, SYSTEMS EXPOSED YOUTH AND SUPPORTING OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SERVING THIS POPULATION.

MISSION:

CPT PROVIDES EDUCATION TO EQUIP DISABLED INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES & CARETAKERS IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS OF SETTLEMENTS, TRUSTS AND OTHER MATTERS. CPT ALSO ADMINISTERS SPECIAL NEEDS TRUSTS, SETTLEMENT MANAGEMENT TRUSTS AND MINOR TRUSTS FOR ITS CLIENTS.
