CASTRO MERCHANTS IS MADE UP OF MERCHANTS BASED IN SAN FRANCISC'S ICONIC CASTRO NEIGHBORHOOD, AN INTERNATIONAL BEACON OF FREEDOM, ACCEPTANCE, CREATIVITY, AND DIVERSITY. OUR MISSION IS TO PROTECT, PROMOTE, AND ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF ALL CASTRO BUSINESSES.

The goal of this organization is to provide services, facilities and programs that support student needs, foster student learning and personal development, create a healthy and diverse community, and enrich student life.

IT IS ESTABLISHED TO SERVE AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN THE CHINESE COMMUNITIES AND AMERICAN SOCIETY, BY PROVIDING PROGRAMS THAT ALLOW NEW IMMIGRANTS TO ASSIMILATE INTO THE AMERICAN WAY. WE ALSO SPONSOR MAJOR CULTURAL PROGRAMS THAT ALLOW WESTERNERS TO EXPERIENCE CHINESE TRADITIONAL CULTURES AT ITS BEST.

WORLD ARTS WEST IS A REGIONAL PRESENTING AND ARTIST SERVICE ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ARTISTS AND DANCE COMPANIES WHO SUSTAIN THE WORLDS DANCE AND MUSIC TRADITIONS. WORLD ARTS WEST SUPPORTS OVER 450 DANCE COMPANIES THAT ENGAGE 20,000 ARTISTS, SUSTAINING OVER 100 UNIQUE CULTURES FROM AROUND THE WORLD. IN THE LAST FOUR DECADES, WORLD ARTS WESTS CONSTITUENCY HAS GROWN FROM A GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY OF CULTURAL ARTISTS TO THE LARGEST WORLD DANCE NETWORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

CONTINUTING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR INTERFAITH GRASSROOTS RELIGIOUS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS. WE TEACH NEW TECHNIQUES FOR EMPOWERING THESE LEADERS IN THEIR WORK AND LEADERSHIP, FOR DEVELOPING AND FURTHERING NEW RELATIONSHIPS AT A GRASSROOTS LEVEL, AND FOR CREATING CONVERSATIONS AND INITIATIVES THAT GENERATE NEW POSSIBILITIES FOR THE FUTURE.

ORGANIZATION'S HISTORY SINCE 1998, EACH ONE REACH ONE (EORO) HAS REMAINED DEDICATED TO ITS MISSION TO DIVERT INCARCERATED YOUTH FROM A LIFE IN PRISON TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE COMMUNITY MEMBERS THROUGH MENTOR-BASED PERFORMING ARTS AND ACADEMIC TUTORING PROGRAMS. EORO BELIEVES THAT YOUTH BEHIND BARS ARE CHILDREN, FIRST AND FOREMOST; THAT ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING THROUGH THE CREATIVE ACT OF PLAYWRITING, PAINTING, ACADEMIC TUTORING AND LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS PROVIDES THE BEST WAY TO POSITIVELY INFLUENCE AND CHANGE THE IMAGE THAT BOTH INCARCERATED YOUTH AND SOCIETY HOLD OF THEM. USING THE ARTS AND EDUCATION, EORO IS TRANSFORMING THE LIVES OF YOUTH BEHIND BARS IN SAN MATEO, SANTA CLARA AND SAN FRANCISCO COUNTIES TO ASSIST THEM ON THE PATH TO BECOMING SUCCESSFUL ADULTS AND IN BREAKING THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE THAT ENTRAPS SO MANY OF THEIR PEERS. EACH ONE REACH ONE RECEIVED THE NEW AMERICAN COMMUNITY AWARD FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL ON CRIME AND DELINQUENCY IN 1999, AND WAS CHOSEN AS ONE OF THIRTY-SIX "EXT

The goal of this organization is to serve the interests of the community as a whole and provide services which meet the needs of people who own or rent apartments, condominiums, townhomes, mobile home parks or other housing complexes who are their members.

SOJOURN CHAPLAINCY'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE MULTI-FAITH SPIRITUAL CARE AT THE ZUCKERBERG SAN FRANCISCO GENERAL HOSPITAL (ZSFG) AND DPH CLINICS. WHILE STAFF MEMBERS ARE SKILLED IN PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH, SOJOURN CHAPLAINCY COMPLETES THE CIRCLE BY ATTENDING TO THE SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS, AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH NEEDS OF ZSFG PATIENTS, FAMILIES, STAFF, AND BEYOND THROUGH OUR SERVICES.
