These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

UNITED CONSERVATIONISTS' MISSION IS TO BRING CONSERVATION TO THE FOREFRONT, BUILDING SUPPORT AND PASSION FOR THE PRESERVATION OF ALL LIFE ON EARTH. TAKING ACTION WILL BE THE FOCUS, WHICH WILL BE INSPIRED, AMPLIFIED AND UNIFIED THROUGH VIRAL, ONLINE AND BROADCAST MEDIA.

PROMOTE ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITHIN THE AUTISM SPECTRUM AND THEIR FAMILIES TO BE FULLY INCLUDED MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH ADVOCACY, PUBLIC AWARENESS, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH.
