TO PROVIDE ROWING OPPORTUNITIES TO LOCAL YOUTHS AND TEENS IN THE BAY AREA.

LABOR ASSOCIATION- MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS. RCPOA PROVIDES (1) ACCIDENTAL DEATH, LONG TERM DISABILITY AND LEGAL DEFENSE INSURANCE FOR MEMBERS, (2) CONTRACT NEGOTIATION REPRESENTATION, (3) COMMUNITY INTERACTION, AND (4) SCHOLARSHIPS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

MISSION:

ON JULY 1, 1999 STANFORD UNIVERSITY TRANSFERRED THE MANAGEMENTOF ITS BOOKSTORE'S RETAIL STORES TO FOLLETT HIGHER EDUCATION GROUP. CONCURRENT WITH THIS TRANSACTION, THE BOOKSTORE SOLD ALL MERCHANDISE INVENTORIES AND CERTAIN OTHER ASSETS TO FOLLETT HIGHER EDUCATION GROUP AT NET BOOK VALUE AND CEASED ITS RETAIL OPERATIONS. SUBSEQUENT TO JULY 1, 1999, THE BOOKSTORE'S OPERATIONS CONSISTED OF WINDING DOWN ITS RETAIL OPERATIONS AND LEASING CERTAIN FACILITIES TO FOLLETT. THE BOOKSTORE DONATED SUBSTANTIALLY ALL OF ITS REMAINING ASSETS TO THE UNIVERSITY.

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

PROVIDE QUALITY INFANT CARE AND PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR RESIDENTS OF REDWOODCITY AND ADJACENT AREAS.

THE ASSOCIATION WILL IMPROVE AND PROMOTE THE FUNCTIONALITY AND VIBRANCY OF OUR DOWNTOWN.

THE TIM GRIFFITH FOUNDATION HELPS TO HEAL AND STRENGTHEN BAY AREA COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO THOSE AFFECTED BY ADDICTION, VIOLENCE, AND LOSS. THE FOCUS OF OUR WORK IS TO HEAL INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES.

OUR MISSION IS TO INCREASE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE REDWOOD CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY'S SERVICES AND PROGRAMS

OUR GOAL IS TO HELP MAKE CLIFFORD ONE OF THE FINEST SCHOOLS AROUND, AND TO CREATE A WARM, SAFE, AND ENRICHED EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR ALL STUDENTS. WE SUPPORT THE EDUCATION OF ALL STUDENTS AT CLIFFORD SCHOOL.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.

OPERATE BINGO GAMES IN THE COMMUNITY TO RAISE FUNDS FOR COMMUNITY CHARITIBLE ORGANIZATIONS AND THE ACTIVITIES OF AMERICAN LEGION POST 105

MISSION:

NORCAL CREW IS DEDICATED TO TRAINING YOUTH IN THE SPORT OF COMPETITIVE ROWING. THE ORGANIZATION HAS TEAMS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS FROM AGE 12-18. MOST ARE FROM THE LOCAL AREA AROUND REDWOOD CITY CALIFORNIA. ITS ACTIVITIES INVOLVE ON-THE-WATER TRAINING IN A VARIETY OF BOAT TYPES AND SIZES AS WELL AS SIGNIFICANT DRY LAND TRAINING. MOST OF THE TRAINING IS CONDUCTED IN REDWOOD CITY AND IS SUPERVISED BY PROFESSIONAL COACHES. THE TEAMS COMPETE IN A NUMBER OF REGATTAS BOTH LOCALLY AND AROUND THE UNITED STATES.

PROVIDES FITNESS PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING ACADEMIC AND ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES FOR ORION ALTERNATIVE AND MANDARIN IMMERSION SCHOOL, RAISING FUNDS TO ENHANCE THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT, AND STRENGTHENING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HOME AND SCHOOL BY PRODUCTIVELY ENGAGING PARENTS, TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS, THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND THE COMMUNITY.
