MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO SOCIAL CHANGE BY FOCUSING ON THE NEEDS OF HISPANIC AND OTHER LOW INCOME PERSONS. IN RESPONSE TO THE NEEDS OR OUR TARGET POPULATION, WE PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, HEALTH, HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS.

MARY'S COLLEGE, OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE, POMONA COLLEGE, AND THE UNIVERSITY OF REDLANDS TO BE USED FOR GENERAL PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH AMENDED AND RESTATED BYLAWS DATED 6/2/97.

FORMED IN 2000, THE ARROYOS & FOOTHILLS CONSERVANCY WORKS WITH URGENCY TO IDENTIFY, CONSERVE, ENHANCE AND STEWARD CRITICAL NATURAL HABITATS AND WILDLIFE CORRIDORS OF THE SAN RAFAEL HILLS, VERDUGO MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS OF THE SAN GABRIEL MOUNTAINS BETWEEN TUJUNGA WASH AND ALTADENA, AND TO LINK THEM TO THE SANTA MONICA MOUNTAINS AT GRIFFITH PARK. OUR OVERARCHING GOAL IS TO RESTORE BIODIVERSITY THROUGHOUT OUR LOS ANGELES REGION.

THE ARMORY CENTER FOR THE ARTS IS DEDICATED TO BUILDING ON THE POWER OF ART TO TRANSFORM LIVES AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH CREATING, TEACHING AND PRESENTING THE ARTS. A NATIONAL LEADER FOR CONTEMPORARY ARTS EXHIBITIONS AND COMMUNITY ARTS EDUCATION, THE ARMORY BELIEVES THAT AN UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS IS ESSENTIAL FOR A WELL-ROUNDED HUMAN EXPERIENCE AND A HEALTHY COMMUNITY. FOR THREE DECADES, THE ARMORY HAS TRAINED PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS TO USE THEIR EXPERTISE AND ENTHUSIASM TO TEACH AND INSPIRE INDIVIDUALS OF DIVERSE AGES AND BACKGROUNDS THROUGH CLASSES AND EXHIBITIONS AT ITS MAIN LOCATION IN OLD PASADENA, AS WELL AS A RANGE OF FREE PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY.

CASA SANTA MARIA PROVIDES 100 HOUSING UNITS FOR LOW INCOME ELDERLY AND OR HANDICAPPED PERSONS.

The goal of this organization is to provide all forms of support except for financial assistance or fund raising for other organizations within the Youth Development major group area.

PROMOTE AN APPRECIATION OF HISTORY, CULTURE AND ARTS AND SCIENCES RELEVANT TO PASADENA AND THE ADJOINING COMMUNITIES. THE MUSEUM WILL HOUSE PERMANENT ARCHIVES AND COLLECTIONS FOR RESEARCH AND EDCUATION, AND PROVIDE STIMULATING EXHIBITIONS AND PROGRAMS.
