THE ORGANIZATION ATTEMPTS TO DO SO BY PROVIDING MENTORING, TRAINING AND PARTIAL FINANCING TO DISADVANTAGED COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION INTENDS TO KEEP ALIVE THE LEGACY OF JOY THOMAS THROUGH AWARDS FOR RESEARCH CONDUCTED IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATION THEORY.

FASF CREATED A NEW WEB-PLATFORM FOR THE ARMENIAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY TO RAISE ATTENTION AND SUPOORT FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN REBUILDING THEIR LIVES.FASF MET WITH ARMENIAN ORGANIZATIONS TO DETERMINE THEIR NEEDS AND HOW ARMENIAN AMERICANS COULD HELP. FASF IDENTIFIED THE FIRST GRANT RECEPIENT FOR EDUCATION, REHABILITATION, CAREER TRAINING, AND FINANCIAL STABILITY.
